Richard Burgess
Owner, Director and Course Tutor
Richard has a lifetime of law enforcement and Intelligence work behind him. He has worked covertly at national and international level within the intelligence community and on covert serious and organised crime investigation and disruption. He is a former agent handler and anti and counter surveillance operative.
In 2017 Richard was honoured by Prime Minister May having been nominated for the National Police Bravery Award. He was regional winner for his action in saving the life of a Jewish male while in Israel. Richard retired from service holding the rank of Detective Sergeant.
Richard has appeared on BBC Crimewatch, Sky Documentaries, Radio and News Media.
Richard has one daughter, Emily who holds a PhD and is a Post Doctoral university lecturer and Author. Undoubtedly his proudest achievement!
David Anthony
Course Tutor
David retired from service at the rank of Detective Sergeant. He has a lifetime of law enforcement work behind him. He has worked covertly at national and international level within witness protection, cyber and financial crime and on covert serious and organised crime investigation and disruption.
Rob Hance
Course Tutor
Rob is retired from Essex Police after serving thirty years as a Constable, prior to which he was a Cadet. Rob was chairperson for the Essex branch of Christian Police Association. He was also a founder and leader of the Harlow Police Cadet Unit, which he still remains doing to date.
Rob served in many policing areas and worked among the community serving and protecting the public, safeguarding children and vulnerable members of the community. He worked on local crime teams and initiatives where he worked on foot surveillance operations against core criminals.
Mick Finch
Course Tutor
Mick retired from service at the rank of Constable. He has a lifetime of law enforcement work behind him. He has worked covertly as a surveillance and tactical firearms operative and dog handler, which included deployment on the Afghani aircraft hijacking at Stansted Airport in 2000.
